Pilates

Pilates is a full-body, low-impact workout that promotes strength, stability, flexibility, posture, balance, body control, awareness, and alignment. It ultimately helps you move with greater ease and fluidity in everyday life. Pilates exercises are often performed on a mat or specialized equipment, such as a Pilates Reformer.
Pilates is a versatile form of fitness that can be adapted to benefit a wide range of people, from beginners to regular exercisers, athletes and rehab clients.

Mat Pilates is an energizing group class focusing on a balanced workout with the correct form to create strength, stability, flexibility, endurance, and muscle elongation. Props (flex-bands, toning balls, weighted balls) will add variety to the weekly classes.

Reformer Pilates builds core strength, increases muscle tone and improves flexibility. A full-body workout performed on the Reformer. Reformer training focuses on specific breath patterns, proper alignment, core stabilization, and muscle endurance training.
Reformer Pilates is suitable for people of different fitness levels and backgrounds and is also a safe and effective option for those seeking rehabilitation or recovering from injuries.
Private, semi-private, and group classes are available. If you are new to Reformer Pilates, try the Introduction to Reformer Pilates package.

Group Classes

FUNctional Movement Classes -This group class will start with an energizing warm-up, followed by multi-joint strength-building movements. We will then transition to the mat to focus on core strengthening. The class will conclude with an extended stretch.

Everyday Strong is a senior's fitness program designed to improve posture, flexibility, muscular strength, and balance. We use light weights and resistance bands to challenge muscular strength and endurance. The exercises are adaptable, allowing them to be performed standing or seated, ensuring everyone can participate.
